Considering Home Schooling?
If you're at the point in which you have had enough of the bullying, excuses, inaction, stonewalling, discrimination or retaliation for standing up for your rights, and most importantly, if your child has had enough, you may be a candidate for home schooling. Parents must not lose sight of the fact that if your child is unhappy, bullied, stressed out and going through unnecessary turmoil, his mental, emotional and physical health is at risk. In turn his grades, and ability to learn, will suffer. A bad attitude toward learning will not do your child any good in the long run. Home schooling is not as intimidating nor as impossible as it may sound, and the older the student, the easier it is. Older students may work during the day and study at night, when you are also at home. There is no need to keep "standard" school hours in a home school. In a home school, you have control.
